Image Description – I’ve been feeling pretty restless lately since I tore my ACL 3 weeks ago.  I had to cancel my trip to Utah because I know I couldn’t hike too long or too rocky because my knee isn’t at all stable. What I wouldn’t do to be able to walk normal or just to feel steady again.  It’s definitely one of the things I look forward to now & hopefully after my surgery I will get there.

What I can do now is hike slowly with a knee brace which is perfect for Wichita Mountains.  Wichita Mountains is really a great spot because not only is it a hidden gem, but it is 3 hours away from DFW, TX.
