Image Description – 3AM – the alarm goes off in Ft. Collins, CO and I’m out the door, through the winding Big Thompson Canyon. At 4:30AM we hit the trailhead near Bear Lake as snow flurries fall on us. It’s July, and I can’t believe its snowing. At 5:40AM, I’m rewarded with the orange cast on Hallet’s Peak above Dream Lake, a spot I’ve longed to visit.

Location – Dream Lake, Glacier Gorge area, Rocky Mountain National Park
